Actually, we chinese always do not like shake our bodies. We think that's really impolite if you touch my body or do some act to me. So, when I come to America, first time to see my homestay parent, I just bow to them and give them a smile...hee.... They seems really confused, and put their hands on my back say "come in"......wow, that's really uncomfortable for me. But now, I understand that is American style to say "hi, boddy, welcome!!".
